Tangled up in me
After a very long day sitting at the kitchen tables working on my floral class bouquet portfolio I went to the movie Tangled with my two roommates Chelsea and Christina.
I absolutely love this movie!!! It was so cute and clever. The horse in the movie was killing me, i love personified animals in movies and he was seriously so funny!! The songs were great and Mandy Moore was the voice of the main character!!! I love Mandy, we go way back :) (another great movie from her besides a walk to remember of course, is because i said so. one of my faves)
Well while I was completely enjoying the movies and right in the middle of the love song the reel freaked out and we had to wait like 15 min until they fixed it and skipped the love song altogether! RUDE. lol i for some reason thought this was all funny though.
Anyways i am completely in love with this movie and i cannot wait for it to come out!! :)

Blowing my mind
so last night i was looking on pretty must the only blog i kind of follow called the Daybook which is about fashion. I really like this blog and the girl who does writes it is so cute! she inspires my fashion sometimes i have to admit. Well she does these mini fashion photo shoots all the time and last night i was looking at one she did this past week. Looking at one of the photos i was drawn the the background of this one photo where it had a big statue like one on my school campus. I stared at if for 5 min and concluded that there was no way it was the same. I scroll down to the next photo and there was the skywalk from my library to the MC!! You cant fake that!!! i was so shocked!! it was seriously my school! I looked into her blog more and sure enough she is a student at my school (random BYU Idaho) and she does alot of her little shoots on campus! she is LDS and everything! The one blog that i look at and the girl i admire so much goes to my school...what are the chances of that?!?! most of her shoots are in front of the Library/Smith buildings and in the Spori. If you go to my school then you know what i am talking about :)
here is her blog if anyone wants to check it out!! http://tandsdaybook.blogspot.com/

Date Night!
Tonight i had a great date! and who was my hot day??? my roomie Chelsea Roberts! We decided on a girls night and one thing led to another and it became our date :)
What did we do??
We made a delicious Peanut Thai noodle dish with a green salad and wavy potato chips
Then we did two different face masks, one the peely kind and the other a clay mask
then we painted our nails and watched a Zac Efron chick flick (Charlie st Cloud) which i surprisingly did not cry in! its a big deal really!!
After that we went to dairy queen where the girl totally messed up her cookie jar and then ended up throwing away 3 things of ice cream because she wouldnt listen to us! it was funny but she was not so happy
Its been a good night! :)
now for white glove tomorrow which i think is totally pointless since we dont get out of school for another two weeks! why??? tell me why?? good thing i got vanity which is basically the easiest of the jobs :)

My faves on you tube

the ones that i have been wasting the most time on (like tonight) had been Julian Smith. This guy is crazy but a genius! he is funny, clever, and talented. if you havent watched any of his stuff it is time you did.
My video of the day is Raciest Coffee http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APyr48GACzc here is the link and it is seriously worth your time also check out his other video i got my mac on with iphone 3GS

to work hard and do my best
to love people for who they are
she is hardcore!
she works hard to help people
she is soooo creative and talented
she is beautiful
she was a super awesome basketball player in Japan
she can beat me in wrestling even though she is 5'4, has arthritis and other health problems, had surgery on both her sholders two summers ago, and is now 52 :)

Japan it
I just want to thank everyone for your efforts to help Japan. It warms my heart every time i see a place to donate to help (like forever21 online had a day where every dollar spent online went to help Japan). I feel so grateful when i hear a prayer in church or in class and the person praying asks for help and blessings for Japan. Thank you so much. Even though i have only been there once i feel a deep connection with it. Please continue to pray for and help out! Through this i see the Lords hand and the good of mankind. :)

Plasma Disaster!
This semester I really needed an income while at school and since it is impossible to find a job in this small college town I started to give plasma. This shows you how desperate I am for money since I have always been terrified of needles! Well i have not had any real problems so far but i always hear the horror stories; I hoped I wouldn't be one.
Today after devotional i went with my friend Tyler the the plasma center like usual and everything was going fine like usual. I had to give a little more since I was over the weight i am usually at (due to my super fly but heavy rainboots i was wearing today). I only had to give like 4 more ounces but I didnt feel like it would be a problem. I am a tough girl. So everything went fine and I got up to go wait to get paid and I started to feel really sick. I was super nauseous, taking short hard breaths, my chest felt squeezed and hurt, and i was extremely light headed. I sat down on the chairs and leaned my head on the wall. I think i heard a guy talking to me but i was out of it and next thing i know i am on my back laying across the chairs being pulled up by two guys. I had passed out. Everything was blurry and my ears were ringing with rage. the pressure was enormous on the sides of my head and my nausea continued. They took me and laid me down in one of the plasma chairs.A guy brought a trash can next to me but i was determined not to vomit. That only lasted about 30 seconds and the painful regurgitating of my stomach began. My whole body felt weak and all i wanted to do was sleep. Luckily tyler was there and he called a ride for me. I was so grateful he was there to help me out. He kept me from freaking out too much by making me laugh and joking with me. He helped me to get home and then made sure someone was home to help. Chelsea my amazing roommate and close friend was home and she helped take care of me. I took a nap and tried to get better ( i had a test to take tonight) after about an hour I woke up and i felt sick again. I
had my trash can by the couch and once again I emptied my stomach. The liquid I had consumed since i last vomited all came back into view in the bucket. I asked chelsea to call someone to give me a blessing and within a few min Tyler and Javin were over. I am so grateful for them and especially the priesthood and this school where i am surrounded by worthy priesthood holders.
After they left Chelsea helped me to my bed and I slept until 9. (unfortunately 9 is when the testing center closes). I feel much better now but i am still weak. My strength is slowly returning and I was finally able to eat something. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be as good as new and be able to work extra hard to make up for my lost time today.
I will not be giving plasma anymore
1. i am afraid to do it now and i hate it anyways
2. since i passed out and got sick i am not allowed to give for 6 weeks or so and there is only 3 weeks left
3. i wont be able to donate in Turkey and most likely not when i come back
so thats the end of that. No more.

Chopped!!
Today i chopped my hair off!!!! i am donating it to locks of love so it is worth it. I have been wanting to do this for a long time now, in fact i was the first in my family to want to do it but since then my two sisters and even my mom has donated! I have always been nervous to since i love my long luscious hair so much but this year i made it a new years resolution to do it.
I wanted to wait for the weather to get warmer so my neck wouldnt be so cold and now it is spring.
My super cute French friend did it for me. I was freaking out but it turns out that people really like it! that is a huge relief to me and even my French friend Ben likes it ;) i just have to remember it will grow back. if i find out how to put up pics I will post some before and after ones.
well sleep well!!!!

My life as a traveler...
My older sister Emi Janae and I have this competition going. We both love to travel and since this summer we are both traveling so much we have started this challenge to see who can go to the most places. Currently we are about even. Since our mother is Japanese we have both been to Japan. We have been to Mexico for family vacations since we lived in Southern California for a while. Last year I had the opportunity to go on a school Meso American tour in which i went to Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize for a month. Right now my sister is on a church tour through the Middle East Biblical areas. She is going to Jerusalem and some other places (thats what might put her ahead) and last week i know she went ti Egypt! This summer she is also going to be in Jordan. I will be in Turkey for 9 months and hopefully, if all goes as planned I will visit her, hop over to Egypt for a few days, visit my friend in Italy, and my friend in France. Of course I will also try to go to Greece and anywhere else I can get to.
I blame my dad for my sisters and my love of traveling. I remember growing up he would always try to have us learn about other places. He himself has been to many different places including Mexico, Japan, Russia, Germany, and France to name only a few. He would always teach us a few words, customs, and facts about different places. We would go and try different restaurants who served foods from different countries and we would even celebrate different countries holidays. My mom loves to travel too and she would always make delicious foreign food.
All in all i thank my parents for giving me this drive, love, and ability to travel. Thanks mom and dad!
